I have my favourites and it’s always cooked right. Any server I’ve ever had was great, except one and they are no longer there. Mozzarellas sticks are the best ever.
We had gone here for dinner on our way through Banff. Honestly it was the best we had while we were on the road. I had ordered the calamari and it was amazing, fresh and crispy. My son ordered a second helping. The souvlaki and greek salad was also great. Honestly looking forward to going again! Can't wait for next summer
Seafood and Lobster Fest (month of August) lobster dinner made me feel like i was back home in Nova Scotia - live cooked, fresh and succulent - i'm drooling as i write this review - recognized by staff that we were celebrating our 55th wedding anniversart - ceasar salad awesome, hot rolls delicious - service attentive, waitress delightful will return several times before end of month, wine perfecto, coffee 2 cups
I would go again when in sault ste marie and I would recommend it to anyone going near this town. The prime rib is the bomb!! boom! The garlic mashed potatoes were tasty and the baked potato was good. The broccoli was done to perfection (tendercrisp). No room for dessert as usual, too bad.
Had read the reviews about North 82 and was unsure as to whether or not to give it a try. I'm so glad I did, the food was incredible! We had excellent service and would definitely return.
My steak was over done no biggy & i felt rushed. I was disgusted in the behavior of the man who runs the restaurant he was the white haired older man. I was witness to him verbally abusing his staff and one waitress in particular was visibly upset as he embarrassed her in front of my table and another one. The whole situation ruined my meal and will NOT return.
Loved it. I couldnt be happier. Steak was cooked to perfection. Garlic Mashed were excellent. Kids chicken fingers were wel cooked. The fettucini alfredo was awesome. Family was very happy with the way the meal went. Service was excellent and quick even though it was packed. I will definetly return without question

On our first trip to Sault Ste. Marie, we were quite disappointed to discover that the LoneStar Restaurant, although in the phone book and in the 2008 Tourist guide, was no longer in existence. My boyfriend and I decided to try the North 82 restaurant instead because he was hungry for a good steak... we were not disappointed! My boyfriend is quite picky with the way he likes his steak to be cooked, but he said that he enjoyed the best steak he'd had in a long time (ordered Medium). He even had a difficult time finishing the whole thing (16 oz.)! I had the chicken fajitas and was quite pleased with the variety of toppings that it came with... the chicken, bell peppers, onions and portobello mushrooms were cooked in some kind of wine sauce... very tasty! We did, however, wait quite a while for our food to be brought to our table (maybe 30 minutes), but the food almost made up for it entirely!
Me and my family have been to this restaurant many times....and everytime we go we have an amazing experience. The food is wonderful, the best we have ever had!!! we love the rolo cake :) A++++++
Probably the worst service I have ever encountered. There was one other table in the lower section where we sat. During the course of our meal, we had 4 differents servers (one took our drink order, one took our food order, one brought bread, and the last one finally cleared our empty plates) and yet we sat for over half an hour after finishing our meal before someone came to clear the plates, despite a server that was dealing with the table beside us. Even better was when our server did return, she had our bill already in hand and asked if we would like coffee or dessert, while placing the bill on the table! Unfortunately, despite the great food, we will not be returning.
The hot items were lukewarm at best, the dessert cake was still frozen, the restaurant was overbooked, the staff was hostile. The only good point was having them making omlettes at the buffet, but it only lengthened the line waiting to get access to the food. The location might as well be an empty lot for all the business it will get from us again.
Me and some family of mine visit north 82 quit often whether its for lunch or dinner this night was awful the server was very rude pretty much ignored our table and got everyones meals mixed up. If s/he had wrote down our order i think i would have gave this restaurant a better rating.
My wife and I had a great experience the food was amazing and our server was great. My only problem would have to be with the owner. We were seated near the kitchen and I could here the way he was speaking to his employees. I dont think that anyone should ever be spoken to that way no one should have to be subject to that kind of verbal abuse. We most likely will return because of the food and the staff. But I hope that manager will change his attitude towards his employees!
the food was the best ever. the sever that we had just dissaperd for a long period of time and came back smelling like smoke we waited for everthing. to top it off the sever could not even speak english her name started with a (A) i think
Just for the ammount the supper costs for bread and pasta I was disappointed but it was good tasting so... it made up for it I guess
A combination of roadhouse and steak house. This is an excellent restaurant that has been in existence for more than 10 years. The waitress who served us had been there since the beginning, and was a delight. Friendly and very professional. The food was wonderful. If you are a cheese lover, definitely try the Saganki. I travel for a living and dine out regularly and I have never had an appetizer I enjoyed more. Forget the chain roadhouses, this is an independant operation that specializes in steaks and prime rib, but with a varied menu that is a step above most others. A real delight.

When we arrived, the restaurant had few customers and adequate staff. However, our entrees arrived cold following a lengthy wait (20 minutes after consuming our salads). Subsequent return to the kitchen and re-service of our dishes yielded minimal improvement. Again, after an additional 15-minute wait, dishes arrived lukewarm, which did not, in any way, do justice to the staff who prepared our delicious meal. Our waitress disappeared for long periods and was difficult to signal during her brief excursions into the dining area. Even after "L" was informed that we would like to receive our final bill and remit payment, she disappeared for nearly half an hour. One member of our party approached the kitchen in search of staff members who might be willing to seek out our absentee waitress. After an additional ten minutes, "L" finally reappeared and the bill was paid. Duration exceeded two hours (from the serving of drinks to payment).
service was very poor. Had a 7:30 reservation, seated at 8:00 and drinks not rec'd till 8:20
