A combination of roadhouse and steak house. This is an excellent restaurant that has been in existence for more than 10 years. The waitress who served us had been there since the beginning, and was a delight. Friendly and very professional. The food was wonderful. If you are a cheese lover, definitely try the Saganki. I travel for a living and dine out regularly and I have never had an appetizer I enjoyed more.
Forget the chain roadhouses, this is an independant operation that specializes in steaks and prime rib, but with a varied menu that is a step above most others. A real delight.
When we arrived, the restaurant had few customers...
When we arrived, the restaurant had few customers and adequate staff. However, our entrees arrived cold following a lengthy wait (20 minutes after consuming our salads). Subsequent return to the kitchen and re-service of our dishes yielded minimal improvement. Again, after an additional 15-minute wait, dishes arrived lukewarm, which did not, in any way, do justice to the staff who prepared our delicious meal. Our waitress disappeared for long periods and was difficult to signal during her brief excursions into the dining area. Even after "L" was informed that we would like to receive our final bill and remit payment, she disappeared for nearly half an hour. One member of our party approached the kitchen in search of staff members who might be willing to seek out our absentee waitress. After an additional ten minutes, "L" finally reappeared and the bill was paid. Duration exceeded two hours (from the serving of drinks to payment).
