If I have to describe my experience so far at Melissa's , she and her techniques have transformed me from a person that believed art is some sort of an in-born gift to one that is truly believing in being at the right studio guided by the right teacher with the right methods. She has been such a motivating and compassionate artist/ teacher that has built my passion and confidence tremendously!

Melissa is an excellent art teacher and has taken me from not being able to draw a straight line to making oil paintings I can be proud of. Her own skills are prodigious and while she has rightly won international awards for her pastel paintings she is also capable of excellence in charcoal, oil and watercolor and can teach all these media. Lorsque j'ai suivi des cours de dessin avec Mélissa, j'avais besoin de rendre mes dessins plus réalistes. Mélissa a su me guider pour atteindre cet objectif en me faisant travailler sur les tons, la perspective et le volume. Le dessin est vraiment essentiel à tout autre médium.
