Stepping into Runway Hair Studio makes you feel as though you’ve entered an upmarket boutique on one of the world’s most stylish shopping streets. The minimalistic décor and chic colour-scheme created by owners Angelo and Emanuella Scarfo certainly give this impression.
But it’s not just the great aesthetics that keep customers coming back. The quality hair care provided by Angelo is what has had clients following him from salon to salon over the years. “I started in hairdressing in Italy when I was 12 in order to keep out of trouble. It’s been a long time since I did my first shampoo,” jokes Angelo. Over the years, Angelo graduated to cutting, colouring and keratin treatments; working in renowned salons around Toronto. In 2013, he felt it was time to lay his scissors down in his own shop, so he and Emanuella opened Runway Hair Studio.
