I liked the service, and I thought it was great but the size of the restaurant was small and crowded (lake st.) I also thought that the food was a bit over priced because the food wasn't awesome, it was okay. It tasted the same there as it did anywhere else. Our bill for the 2 of us with only that was around $80.00 with tip. I must say though that they have the BEST desserts I ever tasted.

What has happened to Cafe Amore? This used to be my favourite place to take friends and family out to dinner and now I?m disappointing every time. I took my father out for his birthday here in June. My pasta consisted of undercooked chicken strips and clumpy sauce. I decided not to change my rave reviews of the restaurant and treated it as an "it sometimes happens" mishap. I went back in September to celebrate an uncle?s birthday and was once again disappointed. My uncle?s 4 cheese pasta was sitting in a cm to 2 cms of oil and the meat wasn't well done. The ravioli I ordered were heart shaped, orange and FLAT (practically no filling). The sauce was placed in the middle of the plate and tasted like something out of a Speghettios can. This ravioli menu item labeled *new* should be labeled *for kids* instead. It was absolutely horrible. The one thing that remains consistent is the services. The service was outstanding as it always used to be.
