fixed my washer

I was very happy with the service. The booked an appointment for me and promissed to come the next day. ( the only company that could come next day) later, they called and said there was a cancalation for the same day, and sent the tech very soon. The machine was fixed within two hours ( it looked like it was a very complicated job ... ) he didnt charge me anything over the price he quoted me ... the machine is now fixed and works like new! Thank you!

Service 4 Appliances is a terrible company.

Do not use this company! We had a terrible experience with them. They came in to fix the drain in our washer, which the service man did successfully (for $316). But at the end of the project he had somehow managed to break the door locking mechanism. He worked on it and then said it was “fixed” (later I found that he jimmy rigged it with a broken screw) and on his way out mentioned that the door mechanism was worn and may need to be replaced eventually, and said something like “not to worry, it would be a smaller, less expensive job.” That night, the door would not open. When we called the next day to have them return to fix the problem, they would not take responsibility for the breakage during servicing. Despite having explained to them that we had no problems with the door since we have owned the machined (until the service visit) they refused to work with us to come up with a solution. When we gave up on coming to a mutual arrangement, they gave us a quote of $315 for the job (even though it was apparently an easy fix). On top of all this, they were extremely rude on the phone. We have sent them a formal letter of complaint and are following up with the better business bureau, but unfortunately as a customer, there is little else we can do (a fact that Service4Appliances obviously takes advantage of). We have ordered the part we need from Sears, it costs $30 and is simple to install. This was by far the worst experience with a service company we have ever had, and all of our other experiences have been great.

service for appliances are awful

On Friday, August 10th we contacted Service 4 Repair to send a technician to our house to fix our dishwasher. He indicated to us that it would cost 250$ plus tax to fix the problem and told us the problem was that the dishwasher was clogged and needed to be cleaned out in order to fix the problem. After he did this, he told us the problem was fixed and we paid for the service. We have now tried to wash dishes several times and it is equally bad as it was before -- the dishwasher is unusable. We paid to have the dishwasher fixed -- not to simply have it cleaned out - and this service was not provided. When we called Service 4 repair they told us that it would cost another $250 plus parts to fix the problem and that we were paying for labour. Had we been told that the 250$ we were spending would not actually fix the problem we obviously would not have gone ahead with this since we could have easily invested a bit more and purchased a new dishwasher entirely. they are not returning our emails or messages now and said we either have to pay more or live with it as is.

NO STARS deserved - Horrible, expensive, unreliab

This is the WORST company ever - said they fixed it, charged $400, and then the next very day my fridge is back at 11 degrees which apparently is not an emergency nor do they feel they should come back without more money??? what the heck - I can't believe businesses like this are allowed to exist.

$300 in your toilet bowl

Over the course of two visits the technician from Service 4 Appliances charged us over $320 and did nothing to repair our refrigerator. During the first visit the technician replaced a $20 component on our 3 year-old refrigerator but was uncertain on how to remove the ice maker to complete the repair. When we called to make a follow-up appointment we were told they had decided that we lived too far away and would have to pay another service call fee. Reluctantly we agreed and on the second visit the same technician accomplished absolutely nothing, admitting he still did not know how to remove the ice maker. This did not stop him from charging us the second service charge. When we asked how he could justify charging us when he admitted to his lack of knowledge about the fridge and had fixed nothing for the second time, he told us this was just the service call fee, if he had actually fixed our refrigerator it would have cost more. With our experience we cannot confirm that Service 4 Appliances actually repairs appliances but wasting time and money they do with a smile. Before calling Service 4 Appliances place $300 in your toilet bowl, it has to be more entertaining watching it spin down the drain that way then handing it over to this company.
