The staff is REALLY friendly and helpful. The fish is mega-fresh! I've never been disappointed by anything I ordered there... They recently renovated the place and it looks great! they've also got special party rooms that you can make reservations for if you have a bigger party. Its really nice, you sit on the floor and its very private and traditional
waiter brought 3 wrong meals, wouldn't change them and proceeded to charge much higher prices for something we didn't order. soups were all stone cold sushi rolls were small and tasteless.
Tomo is our favourite restaurant. We tried it first almost 3 years ago and since then it's been our best treat. We come here often. Sometimes we try other places as we love to try different food and cuisine only to realize there is no better food than in Tomo. Chef is awesome - he is a real artist. Staff is very friendly. Their crunchy noodle soup is delicious! The Teriyaki is best we've ever tried - and we try a lot (not only in Richmond Hill, but in Toronto). Rolls and sushi are awesome, very fresh and delicious. Even if you are not raw fish lover, you'll find other great dishes. My favourites are Dynamite Roll and Dragon Roll. Their Spicy Tuna salad is great if you like spicy food.
Money wise it's very cheap considering the food quality and service.
