My family and I have been going for years. We've never thought that the service was slow. To the opposite sometimes they seemed to rush you by bringing your food so quickly and then removing it within minutes of you finishing. I guess to try and get those line ups to move quickly without losing any potential business. The service has always been great, the staff amazing and friendly (esp. if you're a regular) and the quality of food, fantastic!
Unfortunately, the original owners have left. But the quality of food remains the same. The only thing that's different and doesn't make the experience the same is that the staff is new and the relationship no longer exists.
This place is awesome. I have been coming here for years and the service never disappoints. Also helps that my Grandpa is personal friends with the owner, so we get nice hook-ups. I highly recommend the Kalbi - one of the few places still doing this dish right. EVERYONE SHOULD GO!

The food is great for the prices. The restaurant has nice little booths for you to sit in. The atmosphere, well, can be a bit noisy. But if you are Asian like me, you wouldn't mind.
The waiters have a tendency to bring the bill to you even if you don't want to rush things. It can be annoying.
Otherwise, the food is pretty good, the price is pretty cheap compare to other japanese restaurants. It's a nice place to go with friends and family.

sushi tei is one of the better jap restaurants in mississauga. the food quality is not bad. you have to try their squid roll (squid wrapping around cucumber). Though service can be slow since every time i go there they are so busy.
