Well since no girls will date me or go on a date with me... i have to treat myself to a romantic dinner sometimes! I found them to be very kind to me... for people missing their front teeth please go to golfs... for they feel sorry for you and give you free dessert!! :)

I normally don't go to steak houses as I feel...

I normally don't go to steak houses as I feel pretty confident about my own bbq steaks however my confidence has been shattered. The steak was cooked to perfection with a light seasoning. The soup was also excellent. There is a free salad bar that I did not visit. We had a nice view of the Grand River from our table, it loooks good at night anyway. We had a house wine that was excelent however I don't remember the name.

My boyfriend and I had dinner there for a late...

My boyfriend and I had dinner there for a late valentines. We had high expectations for the Golf Steakhouse, hearing rave reviews about it all the time, but we were exremely dissapointed with the food. I had originally ordered the stuffed sole and it tasted like something from the frozen foods section in the grocery store. It was awful, tasted like raw molded fish with shrimp paste in it. I almost gagged so the waitress changed my order and I got the prime rib instead,it was okay..you cant go wrong with prime rib.. but wat dissapointed me was that the menu lacked originilaty and creativity. It's just basicly a meat and potatoes kinda restaurant that offers a salad bar, which is also disgusting.. think room temperature mushy salads that come out of a bucket from a wholesaler. The salad bar is just a variety of different bucket salads paired with one bowl of cut up lettuce, and the dessert.. o my what a disaster its like stuff you would get in a coffe shop... nothing special just pies and cakes, nothing special made to order. I dont think we will ever visit again, we can make the stuff ourselves, no food-network fantasy foods there.

This place is exquisite! The salad bar is...

This place is exquisite! The salad bar is perfectly maintained with a variety of delightful pastas. With our meal we received soup, garlic bread, and the salad bar and all were great. The service was great too, especially the busboys who looked like fine gentlemen and hardworkers at that. I had the prime rib and I cannot wait to eat there again. Top marks!

WOWZERS, this was the best dining experience I...

WOWZERS, this was the best dining experience I have had in a long time, food was great, atmosphere was great, and the busboys, forget about it, they were there with a new fork before my first one even hit the ground, on a side note, the host, george something, seemed stressed out.
