Went on a Tuesday night around 8pm. (two of us) There was one large group and a few other tables. Waitress came promptly, but didn't seem to know the selection of scotches very well! nor follow a request for ice on the side, not in it!! the steak sandwich was overcooked and tasteless. The menu is laughable, with tired and dated items, and hard to read. Only one of us ordered food, the other totally uninspired by the menu to bother.
I have been here before, lunch during the week. The music was too loud, the server was extremely inattentive, would have ordered more drinks!! but too bad, they never came back to the table after being served our food. After waiting almost half an hour had to go to the bar to pay our bill.
The place is all flash with no character or taste. *yawn* *won't* be going back!!
this place should do Guelph a favour and open at 8 o'clock and spare us Guelph folks from having to 'choke' down - what they claim to be food.
Feel sorry for the server - good thing there was no one there at dinnertime anyway. Probably save money if they closed for dinner.
I guess I was really looking foreward to this place as I had heard alot of good things about it.
It turned out to be the same run-of-the-mill Guelph locale that is heavy on image and short on food and service.
This place will not survive...the only people going there right now are drunk UofG students and friends of the owners from High School.
Got told they don't split the bill for large parties. We then we overcharged by $67 and our server argued that we had ordered all of what was on the bill. Why is this place so popular? The food is gross and the beer selection is awful!
My burger was dry and tasteless, I heard one of the owners knew food, but I would never know.
My fries were listless (maybe they were re-cycled) like the beer.
Carlsberg or Canadian or whatever it may be was flat.
