Mama's Place is honestly the best pizza place anyone could look for. The service is amazing, with friendly waitresses, and a home-like feeling ambience. Not only the look of the place was amazing, but also the food. I have to say that the pizza is the best you will ever taste, crust is not to thin, or thick. Soft in the inside and crunchy on the outside. There is no dripping grease, lot's of cheese and everything taste fresh! I haven't tried all of there food ofcourse, but I am positive that they are just as deliciouse as the Pizza. Just put it as simply amazing. I would go there again, but sadly, I live hours away, just stopped in Almonte with my wife and one of our friends recommened Mama's Place, and we loved it! Lire plus

Of course, it was the eleventh hour when I called and tried to make an evening reservation on Valentine’s Day. And, of course, like everyone else they were completely booked but they did call me back and I was so happy that they could squeeze us in. We enjoyed the best meal we could have hoped for. The house red (forget the varietal) was so perfectly pared with the shrimp appetizer, Gamberi Di Amaretto. And the chardonnay was lovely with the escargots. Our entrees were equally delicious and in spite of the fact that it was a very busy evening for Napoli’s, the food arrived at our table fresh and hot and the service was perfect. Water glasses were always topped up and we were never left unattended for long. The servers were very friendly and approachable and it all made for a fantastic dining experience. We also didn’t feel over-crowded in this ‘full-to-capacity’ restaurant. Our table provided plenty of elbow room and the table conversation was easy to hear in spite of people. We were very comfortable and happy to be enjoying the wonderful atmosphere. We can’t wait to have dinner at Napoli’s again. Lire plus

The Cheshire Cat Pub is a unique British style pub just outside of Kanata. When you walk in past the red telepone booth, it feels really authentic with the unusual "kitch" that you would find in pubs in England. We were just there, and found that they had taken off most of there regular drafts to replace them with Ontario craft beers. My husband was sad to not have a pint of Erdinger, but we learned that they were doing this to honour Ontario Craft Brew Week and found ourselves trying The Flying Monkey and a pint of Neustad 10w30 (beers I had never heard of!) Good for them we thought! We also learned that most of the menu incorporates local produce, meat and dairy. Anyway, the food was amazing! Pub fare, but with serious style. I had the Chicken Curry, my husband had the hamburger special and our friends both had the fish and chips. The service was friendly and laid back and the owner came up to introduce himself and made us feel like we had been coming for years. It was hopping busy! This is truly one of those places that we will return to time and time again! We can't believe we waited this long to come in! Lire plus

For years my family of four and I have been ordering food from Lucky Dragon by delivery. We shave been BEYOND impressed by our delivery service, the delivery man is ALWAYS on time with a huge smile on his face and over all positive and happy vibe. After telling our delivery man that we've never been inside the physical location before he suggested that we go in and eat, so the following week we did. We were automatically seated by an Asian lady with bright red hair, she seemed nice and greeted us with small talk etc,. When we were ready to order we had to wait sevrel minutes even though we were the only table, the Lady(whom seems to be the owner) was to preoccupied with her phone. When she finally came over, we had a couple questions and she seemed annoyed to be answering them. After we got our food a couple more tables came in and it got louder and she turned up the music, I called her over to ask if she could turn this Spanish repetitive dance music down a bit considering my two kids were getting a bit cranky and she rolled her eyes and shot a mean glare to my TODDLERS and kept the music at the same level. Overall, the food was great but we're defiantly sticking to delivery ... Much better service away from the resteraunt Lire plus

Had a wonderful lunch there on Monday with my out of town sister. We were hoping not to be rushed and we were not disappointed.. We were served promptly, service was attentive but not over done and he definitely let us have our time. The food was amazing. The variety was extensive. Presentation was excellent. I had the General Tao chicken with thai noodles and fresh veggies, peppers, snow peas & carrots I am told that is a promotional dish so I really hope they decide to keep it. I would go back just for that dish My sister had a caesar wrap with request for crispy fries. It was real chicken, not pressed or processed and the fries were precisely to her liking For 2 of us, the bill was $25. Good value for dollars spent. I will definitely return Lire plus

Had lunch here once and swore it was the best sushi I'd ever had in Ottawa. Ate here a week later and it was good but not great. I admit though that I am a sushi novice. The fish tank was very entertaining to the two young in our party (both under 5 years old) .
