It was my girlfiend's birthday and I decided to check out the newley renovated Diana restaurant, what a great decision!! We were seated promptly and greeted right away by our dapper waiter. A few of our guests had not eaten at the Diana before, our waiter took the time to ask us what types of Indian food we liked and offered to put together a tasting menu for all of us to share. The food was spectacular, just the right amount!!! The martini's and wine that were recommended by our waiter complemented our meal wonderfully. I always appricate a server who makes sugestions based on customer wants, not just racking up the bill. Great new look, great service all at reasonable prices. Cant wait to come back!!
The new look at Diana is more then I ever expected. The atmosphere, food, service and comfort level was all so overwhelming. When we were greeted the owner showed us to a nice table by the window and made us feel very comfortable. Our server was very tentative and made sure that we had everything we needed, from more water to deserts and coffee. We both had dinners off the new dinner menu(I had the Linguine and my partner, a Pork Tenederloin dish) which were both incredible. We have been long time customers here and are really excited about the new look at Diana. Our overall experience was enjoyable and it was perfect for my partners birthday, we will be back soon.

This was the best meal I have had in Guelph and only cost around $30, including dessert, salad and coffee.
I had a Chai Tea, which was very good, and the chicken tikka dinner special. For dessert we had 3 chocolate mouse, which was also great. The owner stopped by to make sure everything was allright a few times throughout the meal.
I would eat here again for sure.
The newly rennovated Diana Downtown is much more inviting for a casual yet sophisticated dining experience, than previously. A big change from the noisy breakfast spot I used to recall, although, the quality of food has been flawlessly consistent each and every time I have visited.
Something that I have always enjoyed about this restaurant is the lovely artwork on the walls, some of which are exhibits of local artists that seem to mingle so beautifully with the South Asian chillout music playing continously. It is truly an inspiring atmosphere.
From the East Indian Menu I usually order Vegetable Thali; which includes: a choice of 2 from 3 daily vegetable curries, daal, rice, naan, and raita.
I chose a zucchini and red pepper curry, and one with black beans, saag, and paneer. This is served on a large metal plate with seperate compartments for each dish. It's a rather fun way to 'mix and match' your bites!
The best part about this $12 meal is that there is still enough food leftover for lunch the next day...or a midnight snack. ;)

We love Diana's and visit frequently for breakfat and dinner. There service is amazing 99.9% of the time! I've brought all my friends and everytime they comment on how wonderful the food, service and atmosphere is!
