Our trailer breaks module failed while we were on vacation from the US. We left the travel trailer and drove about 30 miles to L & M Ford Dealership and Service. Lisa and Steve were great! They focused on us. After Steve figured out the problem, Lisa ordered the part. The next morning Steve put it in! Thank you for the special attention and quickly getting us back on the road.

We've been to many 5 star restaurants in downtown Toronto and we would take the Log Cabin over any of them. The chef is a master of Soups and presentation. The specials were varied and tasted exceptionally good . The unique atmosphere of the restaurant is extremely comfortable with classy decor that suits the environment. Passing through today with my wife and daughter, hungry so we stopped in. Service was prompt, and actually involved 3 people! I had the pickerel platter (had to prevent myself from saying "It's actually called walleye!"), wife had poutine, and daughter had the soup of the day, hamburger vegetable, and chicken burger. All agreed that it was good. Decor was interesting, and washrooms were very clean. Jake's is currently up for sale; it will be interesting to see what happens here, as the place seems to be a bit of an institution, having been run by the same ownership since 1969.

We have passed the place dozens of times and always wondered what it was like. So we took the plunge. We were very impressed. Great atmosphere, lots of beer choices and the food was excellent.We had a chance to chat with the very friendly (family) owners.
The bleu cheese salad, and the spinach and artichoke dip was excellent. We had the cajun chicken which came with asparagus and a really good sauce. Other than the price, this is definitely not pub food. We will be returning soon!

In the middle of this Co-vid 19 virus our car was totalled when we hit a moose late in the evening. Despite all protocols of social distancing and serious health concerns, Griffiths were out PRONTO to assist. They recommended a tow closer to them ( vs. returning to Toronto) to save costs. They were extremely helpful in allowing us to get back to the car to pick up our stuff & answering all our questions regarding insurance. Polite, professional. Perfect.

Found myself on the side of the highway last week and one phone call to constable towing and they were right there to help. Fantastic company and driver (dont remember his name) He took care of my truck and brought me back to Oakville.

Great place, though i had complaint about the pizza being to salty (which is odd). They gave us a free one and it was perfect.
Also, every morning on the way to work i would pick up a breakfast croissant and 6" sandwich for lunch for under $10.
