We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our family at Michaels On The Thames on Oct/5/19, we had a most enjoyable dining experience, the private dining room was a nice touch for our celebration.Joelle made us feel very welcomed and provided a service that was very much appreciated.Todd our server was super with making sure all of the guest were looked after. Absolutely fantastic! Perfect place to celebrate an anniversary or any romantic occasion. My husband, who is very picky about the food he eats, delighted in an entree of chicken cabarnara, made with fresh hand made pasta. I had the duck confit, which was very tender and delicious. Excellent fish and chips dinner! I had halibut and chips with tartar sauce, creamy coleslaw and pasta salad on the side. The servings were very generous. My piece of fish was huge and I had lots of tartar sauce to go with it. I didn't run out. I love the fries. They are just like the ones that my mom used to make. Whenever going for a quick bite to eat, I always suggest this restaurant to friends and family, my boyfriend and I frequent the place for breakfast as well. It's usually busy, but our food is always hot and very tasty... Always exactly what I order, too, which is important to me being vegetarian. I work for a huge chain restaurant, and am sick of frozen and pre-packaged food. The Family Circle is part of a dying breed of restaurant actually serving fresh and homemade food. Anyone who has had a bad experience here should give them another chance because I personally love everything about it and can't see why anyone would have been treated badly there. Lire plus

A pleasant stop if you are in Ilderton, and especially if you are a fan of a pub atmosphere and cask conditioned ale. I've been here several times, and I usually stick with the nachos because they are a great value and are also quite tasty. But I have had the Steak and Guinness Pie which is also quite the treat. Service has always been great when I have been. I always get a few pints of cask ale when I go, and am never disappointed. It is always fresh and well kept. Rich is a true cellarmaster and knows his beer. As a result, this is a destination for lovers of true cask ale, and the only place in the south west of Ontario to try this unique style of ale. The atmosphere is comfy, nice booths, a bar to sit at, a seperate room with televisions for those inclined to watch a game, and there is also a large screen in the main room for the larger events. Overall, highly a recommended stop if you are in Ilderton or area. No where else near here can you get cask ale, great service, and really tasty food. I'll be back! Lire plus
