I just wanted to give shout out to the staff at Central Auto and Truck parts. My left hand rear window got smashed this morning. They took my car in right away and I had it back in a few hours. All broken glass was cleaned up and looking perfect. Very reasonably priced too!!

Bob was most gracious when he said he would recommend my rugs be pulled by Whitehorse Housing rather than risk the expense of trying to clean them. This was due to their age and carpet type. Guess What ! They pulled the rugs out. I am sure his recommendation was considered. It's great having a community member like you in Whitehorse and the Yukon. Capital Towing SAVED US. We got a flat outside of Destruction Bay and barely made it to Haines Junction. The tow truck driver drove all the way to pick us up and transport us and our car to Whitehorse. Upon arrival, the owner had a plan already figured out. He put our car on a moving van and flew us all the way down to Edmonton, where MINI was sending our car. He made reservations for our flight and even lent us one of their vehicles to get around! I have been a client of Northern Lights Optometry for over 5 years. Their front end customer service is excellent and Drs. Kisser and Gorrell have provided me with the best of vision care. I recently got multi-focals through them but they did not work for me, so, free of charge, they remade them into computer glasses, which are fantastic. These folks are the heroes of the northern roads! They offered us unbelievably fast, on the spot service for a tire repair in the middle of our road trip. The owner was very friendly and personable and they had us on the road within 40 minutes of us even noticing we had an issue. I can’t say enough good things about the service! The Nahanni Inn Dining Room is a clean, comfortable place to have a quick bite, however, if you are looking for fine dining, this might not be the place to go. That being said, there is not much option in Fort Simpson. The meal was hot and filling, the burger was processed and the fries were cooked from frozen. The hot turkey sandwich was made with oven roasted turkey (cooked on-site). Overall a nice place with friendly staff and decent food.
