Our furnace broke in the middle of the night on CHRISTMAS and Brendan took the call at 1am. Vince came out to do the repairs in the morning and he was friendly, patient and reassuring. He clearly set out the expectations, pricing and committed to doing his best to get us up and running. Vince diagnosed the problem quickly and completed the repair on site. Five stars!!! First off, I called And Googled several companies regarding condo HVAC repair that I was not pleased with until I got a hold of Home Trade Standards. Kevin and his team was very accommodating, prompt and professional. I had a broken Whalen unit in my condo and they were able to replace it with an Omega Heat Pump. From the first phone call to final install, it only took 2 days. On time, within budget and honest. They are highly recommended, I would definitely use them again!

I contacted another company prior who "diagnosed" my A/C problem over the phone and wanted to have my unit replace without looking at it. They quoted me a high price for what they though was the problem and for a new
Disgruntled I called CCA & within an hour and a half a technician was over and diagnosed the issue (blown capacitor), replaced it, and we were good to go.
The price was a third of what the other company quoted and customer service was amazing. A+ service & definitely recommended.

I woke up in the middle of the night because my house was absolutly freezing!! I fiddled with the thermostat, by i couldnt get the furnace to kick over and turn on. after a long long night i called royal which i found randomly off the net, explained the situation and how i needed help asap. they come over quickly and diagnosed the issue free of charge. After they gave me the upfront price i agreed and they fixed the issue. Turned out to be an electrical issue - a mouse chewed up a wire - they showed me the culprit and his work. I had a good experiance with royal and would indeed recommend.

As we customers know, paying the price of an Air Conditioner repair is always daunting and a challenge, especially when you have no idea what the cost is going to be before the HVAC Company arrives to your home, diagnoses the problem and outlines the cost and repair in a formal repair quote. This said, and take it from me, your experience with Preferred Air right from your initial call with Shannon (whom is most gracious and accommodating) will be an enjoyable one. Even during the onset of our first heat-wave they made to us many available times. I used their repair service for my a/c. I was able to book it quickly, got a clear straight forward price on the phone and the technician was experienced, knowledgeable and polite.
He followed up with the work, finding and supplying the part that our a/c needed the same day and finished the work the same day.
I had to call another company couple of years ago fir our furnace repair and I had a very difficult time with them because finding someone on the phone and talking to them was difficult
