A huge thank you to Chris and the other gentleman from Smokeys towing! They rescued us from a snowy, hilly, swampy unmaintained road, after CAA and other private towing companies were unable to assist us. Stonehedge Kennel was great! We moved to the area a year ago and liked the looks of their website. Its a family run business and when you go there you can tell. We have four large breed dogs and the runs they are in have lots of space. Very clean and they pay attention to detail. We have been going there every since and the dogs know its home away from home.

We (myself and my daughters) stopped by on route from the Ottawa to home (Hamilton) on Sunday August 8th to order take out. Our family has stopped at the Gateway Restaurant for decades to enjoy their always delicious family style meals. We ordered club sandwich platters and a BLT platter- sooooo delicious as always. The staff provided the utmost attention to care with preparing our takeout food under the covid precautions. Until our next trip and thank you.

Recently we had say goodbye to our elderly dog. It was a heart crushing process. The team at HVH, accommodated our needs which is difficult due to covid restrictions. Afterwards Andrea called us to make sure our family were ok. They sent us a card with our dogs paw prints. We’ve been using Hastings Vet for 8 years. The team have always gone above and beyond. We were driving from Toronto to Ottawa with with two kids and making stops every few hours (Madoc is two hours outside of Ottawa). We hit the ice cream place next door on the way to Ottawa. On the way back we stopped for lunch. Great fried chicken and club house sandwich. Great price.
