whats not to love about the place ok one thing no bathroom but the food certainly speaks for itself and the meat is fresh. the service exceptional. Unlike it's competition in ajax ( the butchers grill) they treat their customers like family, They have been in business for years and this is the reason why great food great service and integrity from the owners and staff makes this place a landmark. Butchers Grill needs to take lessons from you guy's how to make food properly and more importantly how to treat your customers with respect.... Love the burgers keep on grillin.

Well unlike others who posted, we had a great experience at this location. We were seated and waited on in a timely manner. Our food arrived, hot, with no mistakes, in decent time. The only criticism came from my wife who had the Baked-Seven Cheese Ravioli with Bolognese sauce. She said that she likes to taste the cheese, but the sauce overpowered the cheese. Other wise everyone enjoyed their meals.

If you want good chinese food this is definitely the place to be. It is open until 4am or 5am. Good food, good staff ( Say hi to daisy for me). You have to try their deep fried shrimp, black bean chicken, and hot and sour soup :)

Many, many moons ago when I was in my early teens we used to look forward to having your chicken burgers and fries. The juice from the burger ran down our arms...oh my goodness they were so delicious. I still salivate just thinking about them. So happy but not surprised that you are still in operation. I'm too old now to travel back to Ontario but I still have my imagination. All the best for your future and thanks for the memories.

yesterday we randomly decided to try this place we always drive by and never gave a try to. Was very pleasantly surprised by the friendly server and atmosphere, since I was told before that this is a peanut-dropper-biker bar (not at all! its a family restaurant - sports bar).
Ordered 2 steaks and 2 poutines, the food was very good despite the place being quiet on Monday night. TO make it all even better its only 5 minutes away from my house. Would definitely go back.

Ordered the $98 Lobster Sashimi for 2 set menu. Good portion, lobster served 2 ways, follow with Salad Bar, Soup and 2 Steaks.
Service was great, no rushing you thru the courses, clears the table after each course. must be patient, waited 10-15mins for the sashimi, but you can head on to the salad bar to start up with some fruits and lettuce. Good variety of Vegs @ the salad bar.
Finished off with their version of a funnel cake, topped off w ice cream.

This is the Best fish and chip shop outside of England. My cousins and I always go there for dinner after a visiting the relatives at St Johns Cemetery. The service is excellent and they are always ready to answer questions about their history. Highly recomend.
