I telephoned Furnace Family and this morning and I was able to make an appointment this afternoon. Our plumber was Kevin who was very friendly and explained the problem well. He was able to correct the problem very quickly. As it turned out it was a minor problem -- nothing major!! Thank you Kevin. If we have any more problems with plumbing or with our furnace, we will use this company again.

Matt came to my house on a Saturday afternoon and was able to fix my Napoleon Stove. He was able to convert it from LP to NG and then set it up and get it working. Other guys I called were not interested in doing the conversion suggesting it would be a difficult fix. Matt had it all done in 2.5 hours and his price was very fair, plus he works clean which was very appreciated.

i had a tricky problem with a hydronic heating system coupled to a Nest thermostat. Ed had a solution within minutes of arriving. Very prompt and professional service, I will be hiring them again in the spring

Being a male, I waited till 32c before calling around for A/C. 4 big heating and a/c companies in Edmonton raised their pricing cause I was in a bind. Finding Comfortable Home Systems saved me. Talked to Barb and the next day a service tech Manny was out. It was like Manny was working on his own home, did the work with pride! Price was great and didn't try to up sell me like the others.

Peter was very helpful when our furnace stopped working. No heat at 2am on a very cold(-20) night. He gave me instructions over the phone and heat was restored, however the heat exchanger has failed so we need a new one installed. Lots of air movement but heat was meager. Will get us through the time until heat exchanger can be replaced. THANK YOU PETER.

Every experience I had from Modern Power Vac was a great one. When I first called into the office to make the appointment, the woman I talked to on the phone was very informative and answered all the questions I had adequately. When the technician showed up at my home, he was also very informative. He explained what the total cost would be and how the cleaning would be done prior to me committing to anything. He then took a good couple of hours to complete the whole home duct cleaning.
I called Modern Power Vac because I had completed some renos in my home and now after the cleaning has been completed, there is no residual dust at all! I will be definitely calling them in the future, not just after completing renos!

I hired this company to clean my furnace and ducts. Unlike some other companies, they took time to get the job done properly. They sealed all vents with the vent covers before they started to clean. They also used corner guards and blankets to protect the walls and floors. I randomly checked a few vents and they were really clean.
