I have been getting my hair cut in this place for more than a year. The place is big and bright and clean, with a relaxed atmosphere. Parvaneh is extremely profesional and takes care of every little detail of the cut. She is very knowledgeable about trends and techniques and knows how to please the costumers. Besides, she offers a discount for students and the place is close to everything.

I love my haircut! I had a very long hair and decided to cut it short due to my pregnancy so I told The hairdresser what I had in mind and yes! She was able to visualize it. Though she's new in that salon, she's very talented and very nice lady I would say. I'm loving my hair right now. Btw, her name is Devika.
I would definitely recommend her.

Precision cut at a great price!
I now live in Vancouver but have been following Mark from White Rock to Burnaby for a great cut. I am a Japanese and have a rather coarse set of short hair. Mark is so careful and precise, I don't mind driving 40 minutes to get a great haircut @ $10 senior rate.

Definitely a good old fashion type men's barbershop. In the time I was there getting the boys(teens) hair cut there was lots of men coming in. So pretty steady. The 2 guys are polite , efficient and good at the nice clean cuts they were doing. Only drawback was its cash only... No debit or credit

I've used the shop to do my hair for events, halloween costumes, and every day life and they do a great job each time. It's like going to visit friends each time I make an appointment. Great staff and owners, lots of laughs and good conversation and of course very good quality work with minimal to no waiting to get into the chair.
The location is easy to get to (right off St. John's Street) and has lots of parking.
I highly recommend Dekker's to anyone.
