    Honesty and Respect

    I had recently gone to my dealership and they had told me numerous things were wrong with my brakes and quoted me a large price to fix the problem. Something didn't feel right. I then went to Merson to put on my winter tires and to inspect my brakes. Merson did the same inspection and pointed out that my front brakes did need changing but then proved to me how my back brakes were never checked by the dealership. My back brakes were fine! Since there was very few repairs that were required, the cost was 55% cheaper than what my dealership had quoted me. What I liked most about Merson was their honesty. When they found issues with my vehicle above and beyond what they were to be looking for, they brought me into the garage to show me the situation. They also kept me in the loop the entire time I was waiting, frequently coming out to see me and updating me on the status of what they were doing and asking me how I wanted to proceed. It became obvious as I waited that this was not unique treatment to a new customer. It was their standard. Merson employees frequently came from the garage into the waiting room seeking out customers and asking questions about their vehicle, making suggestions, updating them and in some cases like mine, showing the customer unique issues that needed attention. Merson treats everyone with the same respect. You never have that feeling that they are trying to trick you and the entire time you wait, you come to realize that these people respect your vehicle, treating it like your property and not their toy to make money. Thank you team Merson for your honesty and the respect you gave me and my vehicle. :)
