Scotts Roofing & Siding

I DONT RECOMMEND SCOTTS ROOFING AND SIDING. The contractor refuses to rectify issues they created and are dodging my calls. Flashing was not installed around the chimney, nor adjacent to the siding. As a result moisture was coming in adjacent to the chimney. When we called with our concerns we were told it would cost extra to fix and to install flashing. Why that wasnt done in the first place is beyond me. They sent workers to fix it by slapping tar around it. Another contractor had to fix it.

If you're just looking to get a simple detached garage done or something basic, this might be the guy to hire. Unfortinatly, per some of the other reviews, his crew doesn't know how to install flashing properly and our roof leaked in three places immediately. Understandably, mistakes can be made and fixed but this guy does not stand by his work and has not returned any of the phone messages I've left over the last several weeks. I'd keep looking and save yourself the frustration. Not worth the risk.

They did a great job for me

Professional job & workers..They worked fast & hard but maintained a high level of quality through out the job. Everything was done as promised & clean up after the job was amazing..Not one bit of garbage or debris was left. They protected my shrubs & even moved my patio furniture so nothing was in the way. Great Job !!

Don't do it!

Like previous poster, find someone else. Work was very rushed and does not care about quality or you. Had to force him to install drip edge which is now leaking due to improper installation. Had to tar all nail holes he left exposed around flashings. Called him numerous times with concerns and he tells you its all normal. Had to have another contractor come in who verified drip edge is wrong and water getting behind fascia and will cost another $1000 to repair.

Find Someone Else or This Could Be You

They did my roof 2 years ago. When selling my house the housing inspector wrote “The eave edges do not have a drip edge installed and are soaking wet." Called Scott’s Roofing 4 times but they refused to come and look at it so another roofing company inspected and confirmed there was a problem and damages. Cost to repair damages was $1000.05 Find someone who will stand behind their work and do the job properly the first time.
