I visited the Richmond hill location recently for the first time. Considering it was a Monday the restaurant was almost full , a little wait and I was seated by a gracious lady ( I think one of the owner's family).I liked their ambience (they have recently renovated) and efficient service. The food was just awesome. Butter chicken was delicious , lamb chops tender and the black dal complimented the whole meal. Nan was soft. Ask for seat in glass round room.

A great place to grab some Indian take-out when one does not feel like cooking.
Execellent biryani. Those that believe salt is the only way to add flavour to a meal will be disappointed. It probably works well for food that's been boiled or fried way too long and now is devoid of taste. Here at Friends, spices supply the flavour. Lots of it!
Lovely curries. Be sure to try the goat, it won't bite. The portions are very generous; a single order of biryani is more than a meal. Melt in your mouth bhutura and naan. Yummy samosas, the best in Brampton The sweets are also some of the best in town.
Friendly service, the girls are always smiling. The seating area is comfortable, simple and clean but nothing special. The food makes up for this

Great Indian Food! Best in GTA! Been going to Mount Everest for over 15 years! Have tried other Indian Restaurants but none can compare! Service is good and prices reasonable. I cannot praise Mr. Singh enough for his dedication in creating quality indian dishes. Butter Chicken is the best! Love the Naan bread and Samosas. Great vegetarian dishes too! I must say i have eaten at many different place in GTA and outside and am a big fan of Indian food. The place is clean and inviting, service is professional and food is fresh and flavorful, but it could be better with less items on the buffet but offering some different and distinct taste. Good value though.

Took my family here for mother's day and it was very busy! We walked in and wrote gave our names and got a table within 5 minutes. After trying the food I can tell why there were so many customers, the food is mouth-watering! Definitely the best Indian food in the GTA. Won't be going to bras or tandoori flame again. I could tell they were hustling to work as quickly as possible, which can be appreciated in such a busy time. Very clean place, elegant decor. Will be coming back again next week!

My boyfriend had planned a surprise birthday party at Kamasutra. I showed up at the restaurant thinking I was in for a quiet dinner with him, but he had my friends & family waiting at the restaurant without my knowing. Service & the food was fantastic. This was my first visit & my boyfriend's second visit. He had a business dinner at Kamasutra with some associates and loved it. Now we will be visiting Kamasutra frequently.

To be honest, I don't think I have anything really negative to say about this restaurant. We visited for lunch on a Sunday, and were the first people in the restaurant. As a party of seven, we were seated at an assembled table right by the bar near the front of the restaurant.
From what I can recall, we ordered the Manchurian Chicken, Chili Chicken (dry), mixed vegetables, butter chicken, and chicken chow mein - looking back, yes that was a lot of chicken - and it was all rather delicious.

Absolutely will come back! .. I drove around to see what kind of restaurants were there and happened to see North of Bombay. Very big place! .. the owner were friendly but let’s get down to the point. The butter chicken on rice is tender and juicy. My mouth is watering thinking about it haha but keep up the good work! Decided to take my grandma out for dinner and thought that the Diana would provide enough variety to keep us all happy (grandma as well as our young children).
We had an earlier reservation, but even as the restaurant got busier, the service was good and attentive.
Our girls decided on the cheesy pasta (kids option). It came super quick and was served at an appropriate temperature for them to dig in immediately. So many restaurants place piping hot food in front of kids. I also ordered a side of steamed broccoli for the girls.
While my kids gobbled it up, my only suggestion is that they work on it a bit. Seemed a little bit like pasta in milk with shredded cheese. But, as I said, my kids gobbled it up.
I had calamari and a greek salad (both appetizers), my husband had the lamb medallions, grandma had the halibut and her partner had the vegetable pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
The Diana offers an amazing variety (greek salad, pasta, steak, curries, etc) and we continue to go there as our default Guelph restaurant. In fact, we will be going back there for breakfast tomorrow morning with more family! Their chai is delicious! :)

I am addicted to Indian food. I've been to just about every Indian restaurant in T.O. Without reservation ( pardon the pun ) I can say that this place is at the top of my list. Not only is the food fantastic but the price is an unbelievable 10 dollars for lunch and 12 for dinner. ALL YOU CAN EAT. You can order specialty dishes from the kitchen but the buffet has so many selections that you don't need to. Superb, fresh made naan and as many poppadums as you want are included in the price as well as desert. You just can't beat it.
I discovered this place about 3 years ago and since then I have been going once a week, every week. No kidding, it's THAT good. Not once have I been disappointed.
If you like butter chicken you'll die when you taste theirs.
