In December I called Top Hat as the pilot light on my gas fire would not stay alight. The valve that controls the gas being open or closed due to heat had failed. I asked for a service call and the person to bring a valve with them. An appointment was booked for January 26th and yes the person arrived without valve. He took the fireplace apart and tried to light the pilot light and informed me it was faulty. I am still waiting in February for a valve and someone to replace it. So far $100+!!!
