Glanbrook Veterinary Services

I feel like I was deceived, looking for dental cleaning for my small dog, I phoned this vet and was told between $350. - $450.00, give or take $100.00 for extractions. So I made appointment to get evaluation and was floored to get an estimate of $934.96. If I would have been told on my original phone call that it could be $700.00 or higher I would never have made the evaluation appointment, which cost me $91.42 after tax, for 10 minutes office visit. I feel I was taken big time, disappointed.

Very professional, personable, and they really take the time to make sure you understand everything. I absolutely would not take my pets anywhere else!

Unethical Business Practice

Be very careful of the Wellness Plan and in particular responding to their survey's. I expressed concerns (privately via survey), next thing you know they are calling me angrily, dropping me as a client, and then back charging me for all services to date (the discount as per the plan), including an item they said they gave "complimentary". This is 3 months into a 12 month package which I signed up for and paid in full. When I asked to be partially refunded, they in turn are now trying to charge.

I started coming to Glanbrook vet when I moved to Hamilton in 2010 based on a recommendation from a colleague. Although I live in the opposite end of the city, I would never consider going anywhere else. The vets are very knowledgable, and all of the staff are fantastic. I take advantage of the "wellness" plan for my dog which allows regular monthly payments to cover the routine things such as exams, vaccines and heart worm/flea prevention instead of paying large sums each spring (we all know this gets costly). 5 Stars for Glanbrook Veterinary Services!

Katie and Jazz are so well looked after at Glanbrook Veterinary! The staff is so professional and caring. The follow up after a procedure makes you feel they really care about their patients. My daughter and I...

My daughter and I have been taking our pets to Glanbrook Veterinary Services for four years. The staff are very knowledgeable and impart this knowledge in a kind and caring manner to both their human and furry clients. The services our animals have received during those years include spay/neuter surgery, yearly exams, special dietary foods and of course miscellaneous health concerns. We feel so fortunate to have found this clinic and I truly have no hesitation in recommending their services

Review for Glanbrook Veterinary Services

I have my two English bulldogs on the "Wellness Plans" offered at Glanbrook vet. The staff members at Glanbrook vet are all very knowledgeable, experienced, and caring. These plans are fantastic as they address many of the basic annual health care needs (e.g., flea/tick prevention, vaccinations), and since they are paid on a monthly basis, it helps owners to budget for their pet care more effectively. I give this vet an A++!

This veterinary clinic is one of the best. If you live at all within driving distance, we highly recommend them. Drs. Tina and Heather are very caring, professional, and highly competent vets who always take the time to explain everything very clearly. Courses of treatment are always a partnership with us to ensure the well-being of our pets. They stay up-to-date with current research and consult with specialists and colleagues as needed. We are lucky to live so close to such fantastic care.

We really enjoy taking our pets to Glanbrook Vet Hospital. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend it to everyone who is looking. Dr. McGrath and Dr. McGowan are very caring when they are handling my dogs and my cats. They offered advice about treatments, procedures and even food that would optimize our pets health.

My partner and I ...

My partner and I were researching the perfect dog for our lifestyle for about 2 years. We finally found the right breed and followed suit to spend a good deal of time researching a vet for our new girl. This clinic is the most caring place for our dog that I have ever found and experienced. Our dog has a condition that we must visit the clinic 1-2 times a month and without fret they are on the ball, friendly and willing to help any time we need. We always leave with a smile due to friendly, thorough service. Without a doubt in our mind when we leave the clinic we are always at piece of mind and know that our dog is receiving the best care possible. I recommend Glanbrook Clinic to multiple friends and will continue to do so! Fantastic service!
