I personally have dined at this restaurant five times and each and every time, the food has been superb, service excellent. I take issue with the person who claimed this restaurant has a filthy kitchen. If they attended during a busy lunch/dinner, yes they might witnessed a messy kitchen but filthy, absolutely not. Firstly, the kitchen has state-of-the-art new stainless steel equipment and proper food handling is a paramount requisite by the health dept.

Our first visit and there will certainly be more. We were surprised to find such a nice restaurant in Mount Forest...the atmosphere was relaxed, very clean, excellent food, reasonable prices for lunch and helpful staff. All food was warm and the beer was cold! The schnitzel on a bun was delicious as was the Reuben sandwich.

We have been twice now and both times excellent. For anyone that had cold food, they have new heating equipment so not an issue now. Great to have a real restaurant in town and not have to leave town for a great night out

Sword and Musket has a great concept - but terrible execution. Appetizers (garlic bread and escargots) arrived at table Luke warm. Pasta was hot and delicious but again, the steak ordered by my wife was cold. Butter wouldn’t even melt on the potatoes. Waitress apologized profusely but no discount was applied to our bill. Overpriced mediocrity at best. Some food prep process improvement would certainly boost the score - but management doesn’t seem to care. Disappointing.

The dirtiest kitchen I have ever seen in my entire life. Absolute disregard for safe food handling practices.

Pleasant service but hot main course wasn't hot. Soup was great but the main came out when we only had s spoons of soup

32 for b-day party/dinner past Sat.27th With the restaurant also in full operation it was needless to say very busy spot. Everyone in our group got their soup,salad and maincourse in a timely organized manner, not too mention drinks and dinner wines throughout the service. Nothing but compliments and positive coments about the food and the service.Could not have turned out better, anywhere.....thanks to the management and staff for a great experiance and memorable party.
