V N Nails & Spa

I have been going to VN Nails for about 6 months and find them excellent. They are always polite and friendly to me. The work is quick and skilled. I usually get Nam (the male owner) and he is polite and makes sure I am satisfied with his work. I have dropped in from time to time for a repair and he never charges me. He has even held the store open for me to arrive late. The store is clean and convenient. I don't go anywhere else anymore.

I have been here a few times for manicure and waxing. I have used many many nail salons in the past and can honestly say that this one is AMAZING. They are friendly, they take their time to make sure they are doing a good job and you leave satisfied and they are affordable. I would recommend it to anyone and in fact will be going there today to get my mani and pedi :)

Not a very good pedicure.

I told the tech I had thick calluses on my feet and she would need to use the blade. She nodded indicating "yes". So she proceeded using the file and never did use the blade. Within 2 days, I was using the blade at home myself to trim my calluses. The never speak English to you, don't even think they understand it. They just tap your foot and/or point when they want to change from left to right. I will be looking for a place with more comfortable atmosphere and that does a better job.

Just went in for ...

Just went in for a shellac polish change & wanted to commend the staff on their excellent customer service. I had my 6 month with me & in the middle of getting my nails done she starting having a meltdown in her car seat. A gentlemen (I believe the owner) started talking to her & rocking her and when she wouldn't stop crying one of the girls asked if she could take her out & she played with her and sang to her while I got my nails done. It was super sweet....and they always do a great job on my nails! :)

I went in for my first time to get a manicure done and the gentleman who did my nails was very polite and got the job done in a timely manner. The salon did a great job and the price was the cheapest that I've ever found. I recommend going.

In all my 15 + years of having pedicures in Canada and worldwide, this is the worst place if you want to feel pampered and relaxed.It was a 15 minute pedicure, no foot soaking, just washing, very rushed and place was not busy.When I complained after I paid full price for it, the lady at the cash turned her back and walked away, First time I have never left a tip. Ruined my day as I was expecting a nice relaxing pedicure, they clearly do not want new business..

Had been going to this place for a while. Each time, they would do a rushed job, leaving paint on my fingers, smudges, missing spots. I would comment on it, and often was met with rudeness, the store owner often telling me that's how it was supposed to look and they couldn't do anything about it. I would insist that they fix it there and then. The store owner would get upset and speak in his language to the other employees. The last time I went, I chose a white shellac, and the girl applying it put it under the heat lamps and it ruined the polish. It was smudged everywhere, she attempted to fix it by putting another coat on top of the severely damaged mail polish. It made it worse. I told her I was in a rush and if she could just take it off. She said white shellac always smudged like this. The owner came Over and said I would have to pay for a nail polish change. I told him I should get a discount for wasting my time as she should have told me white shellac always smudged, he got mad at me and started yelling at me as she applied a different colour. When I went to pay, he charged me full price and said I was lucky he wasn't charging me twice. I told him that's not how you treat your loyal clientele when your staff is the one that made the mistake, and instead of being out in 35 minutes, I had been in there for an hour and 15 minutes. He yelled and said he doesn't have to do anything for the customer, he has tons of customers! Safe to say I will never go back to that salon ever again! Be warned of the owner. He does not know a thing about customer service and the paying customer is always wrong! I give this place zero stars!
