frustrating
I was nervous to take my car to a mechanic, because I had never done so alone. I was worried about getting ripped off. I brought my car to K-D to get a gas leak fixed. The woman at the desk told me that they could not give me a quote for how much it would cost to stop the gas leak. She insisted that they had to fix my car without giving me an initial quote. My car's gas leak was "fixed". The whole process cost roughly $80. I figured that I had gotten a fair deal, until I took my car to another establishment for an oil change. The other establishment said that I had a gas leak- KD glass had fixed the leak incorrectly. A metal tube had been put onto a gas line which is under pressure. Apparently, the proper protocol with a gas line under pressure is a rubber tube. They fixed KD's work for roughly ~$50. I am sure that it was an honest mistake on the mechanic's part, but I was still the one left paying to fix their honest mistake. I am sure that other people have had good experiences with this establishment, but I am simply telling what happened to me.
