Horrible owner treats his staff very poorly

Ive been coming here for over a year now seeing Shawna. She always know exactly the look Im going for. Super friendly staff, relaxing environment, quick and easy bookings!

Awful service, bad stylist!

Awful! Unprofessional, rushed, bad service. my hair looked horrible! It wasn’t even close to what I wanted – I asked for soft caramel highlights in my dark brown hair and my whole head turned blond and orange, with nasty lopsided chunks of colour. I got a refund and had to spend 4 hours at Berns & Black getting it fixed. Leslie at Berns & Black works miracles and if you need a good place, walk the extra 2 blocks over and go there instead!

Great Experience

I work just down the street so it was a short walk. I had booked a Manicure w/Galina, but I arrived 20 minutes early. The staff were making conversation with me while I was waiting, and the guy with the long hair and tattoos even went and treated me to a coffee. I went back about a week later for a Haircut w/Cindy and I was very impressed! The only downside is that they are not open on Saturdays. I recommend this place :)

Loved it

I had a really great experience here. The location is perfect, as I work downtown and can go during my lunch hour. The service was very friendly, the people are personable. The prices are fair and I LOVED my haircut! I will for sure be going back! I definitely recommend this salon.
