Michelle Baker, owner of Riff's Hair Studio, has been styling hair for over 25 years and loves the chance to improve people's lives. "I'm a creative person, and I like working with my hands,” she says. “The best part of my work is when a person comes in not feeling very good about their appearance. When they walk out the door, they feel fabulous and refreshed and love how they look."

Sporting a good hairstyle is important she says, especially for special occasions such as job interviews. "People feel their haircut is going to make or break their chances." Giving people the look they want is part skill, part art, says Michelle. "There's a fine line between what you want to do as a stylist and what the person wants and that is where communication is important."

    Michelle always takes time to assess your hair, what you like and dont like about it. Then she provides you with options and lets you know her plan before she does your hair. Very personalized service!
