David Zimmerman knows good food. The co-owner of Lot 102 has been working in the restaurant business since he was 14 and moved up the ladder to become the regional chef for a franchise restaurant. David and business partner Ryan Farwell ventured out on their own in May of 2015, opening a restaurant serving burgers, bourbon-based cocktails and beer at the corner of Memorial Drive and 10th Street Northwest.
Located on the south side of Kensington Village, the restaurant overlooks the Bow River, the weathered steel sculptures of Poppy Plaza and the Louise Bridge. A long, narrow room built along a central bar, the restaurant’s front-to-back windows provide a view for patrons seated in the front lounge area as well as those in the rear dining room.
