This was my second visit to the Eglinton Ave. Jerusalem restaurant. The first hadn't been great but I put it down to an off night. How wrong I was. This, a lunch date with an old friend, was abysmal. The service was dreadful and the food ranged from indifferent to bad, culminating in a flannel-like slice of baklava. I will never darken the door of 955 Eglinton Ave. West again.
We went here and bought two chicken platters.. the food was nothing other than average. The service was quick and nice. The place itself would be considered "good" decor-wise on my standards. The chicken platters were decently portioned at $12.50 a platter. One of the few restaurants out there that are middle eastern cuisine with this type of food - amongst the thousands of fast food middle eastern places.
Ive been a loyal customer at Jerusalems on Eglinton for as long as i can remember and cant seem to get the same exotic flavours anywhere else in T.O. The best falafel, creamiest hummos, best entrees...restaurant is always busy but the always courteous staff manage to get patrons into the rest. without a long frustrating wait! Ive been to the Leslie location and it doesnt compare! One of the best restaurants in Toronto in my opinion and Ive been to MANY!
everything was alright at best. there was nothing positive or negative to say really - just your average place with average food. although I might try the Jerusalem restaurant on Leslie which seems more decorated.
We go to this restaurant whenever we are in the area. The food is really good, we usually get the combo dinner for 2. Their falafel's are delicious (as is the chicken and beef).
Delicious food at an affordable price. I highly recommend this. Will return!
My husband and I have been dining her for over 20 years. We love the food and decor. The combo we always order is more than enough food for us and it is priced right. It has a taste of all the appetizers and a choice of main meats. We love it. Thanks Jerusalem.
One of our favorite Middle Eastern Restaurants. Their combo for 2 or 4 is a fantastic deal with lots of appetizers and enough main course items that 3 people can eat their combo for 2 and still be full. Good service, fresh and tasty food. Have been there many times and continue to go back. Friday and Saturday nights are super busy so expect to wait anywhere from 10 minutes to more than half an hour for a table
