Japanese Village Restaurant

Nice atmosphere but reservations seem to have no meaning. We had a reservation made a week in advance for 7 pm for 4 people, we were seated a little after 8. Be prepared to wait even with a reservation

Use to be amazing!

I have been visiting this restaurant for years and it use to be incredible, the place was kept up and cleaned, their sushi bar was very good, the food was excellent and their cooks were interesting and good at what they did, their sauces were the best...... what happened? I believe that at some point the place was sold and the new owners do not seem to be interested in keeping the reputation this restaurant once had. They did not keep the place clean, not sure if the Health Department has been there, but the place is gross! The sushi bar is non existent, their sofas are ripped, ceilings have layers of dust hanging from them, the carpet is full of grease, and their decor has not been cleaned in years. The sauces are either watered down or the new owners did not buy the receipy from the previous owners. The food is still good, that is, if you can close your eyes and not look at the dirt around you.

Worst Service EVER!!

Food was just any kind of food that you can find at home..It's just that they cook it in front of you..that's about it. Service...The worst Ever.!!! They are lack of servers..everytime I need something, I have to look around to find my server.. And servers are not kind at all.. And at the end..they wanna kick us out so badly so they can put new customers on our seats. Menu never changes, place never gets better Just terrible experience for me... Never go back there!!
