We ordered 4 chicken and fries. 2 of the orders the fries were mostly brown little half inch pieces and not even warm. Disgusting, this is the second time this has happened in a short time. will not order again there. Were locals. Very poor management.
Horrible. Slow service. Cold restaurant. Took 10 minutes to ask for the bill. Another 15 minutes to receive it . I had to find the waitress wondering where she went since we had waited so long. She was too busy talking instead of printing it. I felt Like just leaving without paying. First time in my life I refused to tip. Chicken looked like it was starved before slaughter. The skin tastes burnt and whatever little meat was on my plate was ridiculously dry. Worst swiss chalet ever. Beware.
First of all restrauntica obviously is a menace who whines if she doesn't get her was because I've seen her mixed reviews on many restaurants in the falls and she can't make up her mind on any of them! Now about Swiss chalet... The food is great and always has been. The service every time I go is very attentive. If I have one complaint it's that the skin isn't crispy like it used to be in the 70s and 80s.
The food was great and although we had to wait a while for a table, it was worth it. We took a party of 11 to this Swiss Chalet after touring the Falls and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service.
We LOVE Swiss Chalet! This is easily the most dependable place in town to eat. The food is always good, hot, delicious, and quickly delivered. I take quickly delivered to mean that I don't have to wait! Our servers have always been friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. The manager seems to be a little unpredictable at times, otherwise, it's a great, simple place to go with friends or family and we always go back!

I couldnt believe the service when i got here! it was possibly the worst service i have ever had. First of all our waitress looked like she would rather be doing anything that to be there..... our meal was fast, almost too fast.... it seemed very rushy... they close at 11 and by 930 someone who looked like the manager was asking "how long are those people going to sit there???" which was really rude, we were only there 35 minutes
