Electrolysis may not be the most pleasant thing to do, but at Caress Electrolysis, they make it as positive an experience as possible. The beautiful décor and spa like atmosphere is very relaxing and peaceful. Kathryn and her team are professional, knowledgeable and have helpful tips on making the process more comfortable. I would recommend Caress to anyone looking for permanent hair removal.
My mom first took me to see Kathryn at Caress when I was 13 and my eyebrows were becoming a unibrow. I was a little embarrassed at first because I'm a guy and hadn't heard of anyone doing this before. Kathryn was really nice and it wasn't too painful. My eyebrows look natural and I've only had to go back a couple of times to have them touched up; I'm 16 now. I would definitely recommend Caress.
My experience at Caress has been and continues to be great. I went in with a ton of questions and worry and was happy to find that the staff is very knowledgeable. Being transgender, I had many worries and anxieties about having electrolysis done, and pain was one of my major concerns. However, my needs have been respected and I feel cared for while I am there. I intend on continuing my visits, and setting up appointments has been very convenient for me along the way.

Kathryn has helped me regain my femininity! Absolutely worth it. It was hard to believe I finally found an effective treatment! Kathryn has a wonderful personality where you never feel any judgment and are quickly put to ease. She maintains a high standard for the clinic, feeling clean like a medical facility but with the atmosphere of a relaxing spa. Very affordable and the slight discomfort is very tolerable. Being a man I was unsure of how awkward I would feel walking into an electrolysis studio but as it turns out I had nothing to worry about. I have tried many different places for electrolysis and I have to say that Caress Electrolysis is the friendliest and has the best professionnal services I have experienced. The equipement is top of the line and always very clean. I would recommend it to everyone.
I'm kicking myself for not doing electrolysis a long time ago. If you have unwanted hair, this is the best place to get rid of it. The staff here is warm and friendly, professional, clean quick and inviting. The environment is non threatening, non embarrassing and private. I've had electrolysis with Kathryn, Kim, Jane and Krista, all of whom did a fantastic job. The redness fades quickly for a beautiful result. Caress Electrolysis offers a quiet and clean setting for the services provided by the knowledgeable, professional, caring and pleasant staff. When I decided to do electrolysis, I did a lot of research to find the best possible clinic in Ottawa. I came up with Caress. They use high-powered microscopes, the latest electrolysis machines, the best in sterilization practices, and the staff is very experienced. Unquestionably they lived up to their reputation. I had electrolysis done by Kathryn, Jane and Kim--all three did fantastic work on my face. I never suffered the burns or scars that some of my friends have endured at less professional clinics. In fact the redness from treatment usually faded by the time I got home, 30 minutes later. And the results have been fantastic. I'd also add that I found Caress a very friendly environment, and was made to feel entirely comfortable by all the staff. I couldn't recommend Kathryn and her team more highly.
After doing some extensive research, I decided to explore Electrolyis. I have been a client at Caress for about five years now and I have had such a fantastic experience! Not only did I have a huge improvement in the elimination of unwanted hair but I always had such a serene and calm experience every time I went. Christa was my electrologist and she did an amazing job in eliminating the excess hair. She was very diligent and I loved chatting with her.
