Appletree Medical Centre

I have used this location in the past and the wait times have been very close to what was advertised. Today its been ridiculously. We arrived at 545 website said 20 min wait 1,5 hrs later we left, There was three people ahead of us. This is a telemedicine location. If this is how Telemedicine works, than its not working. . As a side note I know there are at least three staff members here, one of whom is attending to a patient. Ive rang the bell to no avail.

Very insufficient practice. Respectionsts should be given one doctor each with all responsibilities instead of spilting each task. Not impressive. Needs to be worked on.

I have personally been a patient at Apple Tree for many months and I believe that the doctors are great! There kind to you, but they be serious when they need to be. They advise you on how to take care of your medical issue and try to make you feel comfortable. However, even if you book an appointment there they are usually 5-25 minutes late. If you want to see a doctor than you better make an appointment or you can be waiting for at least 30 minutes. Overall a good and honest place to go!

I thought they cannot perform worse with overall dirty look, lines and lack of staff, unfortunately I was mistaken. Today they refused to do the blood work, as the requisition was from my doctor and not Appletree Medical Center doctor although I`m Ontario resident with valid OHIP card. I believe it is me: the taxpayer who is paying for providing the health care services guaranteed by Ontario government that`s why I was shocked to discover they can pick and choose who do they serve.

Doctors okay - receptionist questionable

It does not pay to ask the receptionist Tamara anything that requires her "thinking outside the box". After leaving an appointment with my doctor today I asked her to check if the blood test I'd had included thyroid. She practically ordered me to "go sit down to protect patient privacy". Then told me my doctor was "only treating me for arthritis", which begs the question, why did she order a COMPLETE blood test? Tamara might be efficient but I find her way too officious. She is uncommunicative, unempathetic & takes herself far too seriously in detriment to patients, who would appreciate a little better "bedside manner".....not to mention friendliness & helpfulness. I don't appreciate being bossed around like a child - I am 68 years old.
