First off, menu board says $29.99 for the family pack and they charged me $32.99 plus tax. When I asked them why the price was different, they shrugged their shoulders and said they didn’t know. Second of all, I got home (20 minutes away) and discovered they gave us an incomplete order. Come on Swiss Chalet, you are better than this!
Small portion but great quality
Took 10 minutes for me to understand and complete my order with the operator. Almost hung up twice, after she asked if I wanted my dinner at 6am or 6pm when i was calling at 5:30 pm. Seriously, pay the operators better money cause I may never use Swiss Chalet again!!! Do you want comboments??WHAT!!!!
I live in London, and this is by any measure, the worst Swiss Chalet in town. It is filthy dirty, the service is slow and poor, and it takes forever to get an order. Go elsewhere.
I find that as long as I go deeper into their menu and shy away from their traditional " rotisserie chicken dinner" everything is just fine. Recently, I decided that I'd like a chicken dinner , so I ordered a half chicken dinner. When it arrived, I had to look twice at it to see that it was actually a half chicken. I was very disappointed in the portion sizes. There was however a generous helping of fries.
I visited Swiss Chalet on Mother`s day 2009 and it was packed (as expected). But I was neither happy or disappointed by their service on such a busy day. The food was great as usual, but I felt kind of rushed by the server who was named Mustafa. He did great over all but perhaps a couple check ups would have been nice. The restaurant had perfect lighting, hardly any wait time, and enough tables to accommodate large parties. The presentation of the food wasn`t anything to die for, but understandable for such a rush in the kitchen. Great review overall, and deserves a return visit in the near future. PS: My grandmother also gave compliments to Mustafa for bringing her HOT water for her tea (which they sometimes do not bring). But on the other hand we wished they had larger and non-metal teapots. Too easy to burn yourself.
we used the call in delivery service and it took us about literally 4 ties to the people to comprehend on the other side and to actually take our order...properly. we had to call back because we wanted to switch an order, no one would answer and it took a few ties just to get through the line. once we spoke with someone she had to transfer our call a few times, then the phone call was dropped and when we tried to call back we couldnt get through and then had to be transfered AGAIN! the lady then told us she put our order on hold so it woudlnt be sent out or made, yet when we talked to another lady she said our order was not put on hold and may have already been made. so therefor our experience was very frusterating and annoying. she then had to confirm that we wanted the small chicken sauce 3 times. we are writing this while we are waiting for our order which was placed about 31 minutes ago. There customer service on the phone was too much of a hassle. we just want chicken with our beer....is that too much to ask? and for the record we do want a SMALL CHICKEN SAUCE!
